As much as people like to say the game is dead. At the end of the day it's been a while since I went to any outpost and been the only one there. Factions outposts i'm looking at you, even still, theres usually at least one other player there. After what, 5 years? Well done to A-Net for making a game that holds the interest for that long!

With a standard $15/mo MMO you are essentially paying for 6 $30 expansions per year. Name me one MMO that comes close to delivering on that.

GW provides new content for FREE. They have no requirement to do so .. yet they consistently over-provide value while every other game under-provides value.

Well it took a bit to translate the above into a readable format -

Anyway, WoW I spent about $40 something on it and not boring! Well we have different ideas of boring then. I didn't last two months I was so bored. And I've never ever seen an uglier game.

Enough of that. I don't see GW as a ghost town and I don't think it will be one. I've gotten more then my money's worth out of it. I spent $60 on Aion and will probably never have the hours I have in GW. And I still like it.

1. Guild Wars = Farm Wars

This has been my biggest complaint about Guild Wars. There isn't enough unique content after completing the main quests. It gets repetitive quickly. The devs defend themselves by saying that we don't have to farm, and that's true, our other option is to go play something else.

2. Some of the account bans were screwed up.

I was banned for credit fraud when the ban hammer went down. The thing is that I never committed it. Fortunately NCSoft was nice enough reactivate my account. So now I can go farm some more...

After completing the main quests for every character in every campaign takes hundreds if not thousands of hours. ANY game will get repetitive after thousands of hours. Scratch that. Any activity will get repetitive for thousands of hours. If you masturbate for thousands of hours your hand will fall off.

Well, that's really true for most MMOs, no? They are either grinds from the get-go or soon become them. We all paid, what, 20 dollars per campaign? The cost : play time ratio is actually outstanding when you break it down (as some on here have). While I don't think many would complain if there was more content, it's just never been possible to have endless content.

The way I like to see it, either a minority get their wish of fresh, oozing content for GW, or we get a sequel. I think we're going in the right direction on that one. Sorry to hear about your account woes, though! I'm glad I've never had to deal with support.
